Assignments, Examination & Evaluation
- Assignments: IGNOU uses continuous evaluation mainly through tutor-marked assignments. Assignment responses must be submitted before appearing in the Term-End Examination, as per the common prospectus.
- Term-End Examination (TEE): held twice a year, normally in June and December. A fresh examination form must be filled online for every session.
- Exam fee: ₹200 per theory course (July 2026 Common Prospectus); examination fee is not part of the programme fee.
- Grading: numerical marks are converted into grades on IGNOU's five-point scale (A–E). Marks and division can be provided on request.
- Hall ticket: no printed hall ticket is sent; download it from the IGNOU website a few days before the exams and carry your IGNOU ID card.
